To register an investment project, you need to follow these steps:

1. Prepare investment documents including: application form, planning map, detailed cost estimate, business license.
2. Submit your application online through the Public Service Portal or in person at the Investment Department.
3. Waiting for assessment (maximum 15 working days)
4. Receive Investment Registration Certificate

Special incentive policies include:

• Corporate income tax: Exempt for the first 4 years, reduced by 50% for the following 9 years.
• Land lease: Free for the first 3 years, 50% reduction for the following 7 years.
• Training support: Up to 50% of the labor training costs for the first two years.
• Import tax exemption/reduction: Applicable to equipment and machinery for the project.

The minimum investment capital depends on the type of project:

• Light industry: From 500 million VND
• Heavy industry: From $2 million
• Logistics services: From $1 million USD
• High technology: From $5 million

Note: Funds must be transferred to an escrow account in Vietnam before the project can be implemented.

Processing time: 15 working days from the date of receipt of a valid application.

In cases where additional documents or clarifications are required, the processing time may be extended by a maximum of 10 working days.

If your application is rejected, you have the following rights:

1. Request for explanation: Receive a written explanation of the refusal within 3 working days.
2. Additional documents: Complete as required and resubmit.
3. Complaints: Submit a complaint to the Management Director within 30 days.
4. Lawsuit: File an administrative lawsuit if you disagree with the complaint decision.
