The green energy development zone is planned over an area of 1,500 hectares, featuring strong wind potential with an average wind speed of 8.5 m/s, and abundant solar resources with approximately 2,600 sunshine hours per year.
The zone is designed in accordance with sustainable development standards, making it suitable for large-scale clean energy projects.

Economic Advantages
With exceptional wind and solar potential, the Van Phong Renewable Energy Zone is capable of generating 5,000 – 8,000 GWh of electricity per year, sufficient to supply power for approximately 2 million households.
Electricity generation costs in this zone are expected to be 20–30% lower than in other regions of Vietnam, creating strong competitiveness for energy-intensive industrial enterprises.
